A corn and cheese sandwich is a delicious and simple sandwich made with ingredients like corn kernels and cheese. It's a popular choice for a quick and tasty meal. Here's a basic recipe for making a corn and cheese sandwich:

Ingredients:
For 2 sandwiches

4 slices of bread
1 cup corn kernels (canned, frozen, or cooked fresh corn)
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your preferred cheese)
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Mustard sauce
Parsley for garnishing

Optional add-ins: chopped jalapenos, diced bell peppers, chopped herbs, etc.

Instructions:

Drain the corn kernels if using canned corn, or cook fresh or frozen corn according to the package instructions. Allow them to cool slightly.

Grate the cheese if it's not pre-grated.

Mix together corn, cheese and mayonnaise. Set aside.

Spread mustard sauce on one side of a bread slice.

Sprinkle the grated cheese over the mustard sauce.

Add the second slice of bread.

Spread evenly the corn mixture.

Bake for a few minutes at 170 C (air fryer or oven) until the bread is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese has melted.

Once the sandwich is cooked to your liking, remove it from the oven.

Allow the sandwich to cool for a minute before cutting it in half.

Serve the corn and cheese sandwich warm and enjoy!
