If you're interested in what goes on when we sleep, then this video is for you! By the end of this video, you'll have a better understanding of the importance of sleep and how it affects our day-to-day lives.
Although many people don't get enough sleep, sleep is essential to sustaining both your physical and emotional health. What occurs to us as we sleep is something we all do.
One and two are light sleep stages. This is the stage between being awake and dozing off. Body temperature drops, breathing and heart rate start to slow down, and muscles could twitch. Because of the sluggish Delta brainwaves that are emitted during Stage 3, this stage of sleep is frequently referred to as Delta sleep. Our cells release the most growth hormone during the first stage of deep sleep to support bones and muscles and enable the body to heal itself. In stage 4, we start dreaming. To prevent us from acting out our dreams, the body produces substances that temporarily immobilize it.
