As Darrel Broek, the host and one of the owners of Café Maxx, walked us to our table. I glance at some of the set tables and noted to myself that they were all perfectly set, every setting was identically placed and every table impeccably uniform. As soon as we were seated our server, Jane, introduced herself and offered us water, and took our drink orders. Shortly after she brought us a large basket of fresh mixed bread and then proceeded to take our orders. I must note that one of the unique things at Café Maxx is that the menu is pretty much created daily. Yes, daily! For starters, we had an Escargot Phyllo Purse and the Thai Grilled Sea Scallops both masterfully plated and incredibly delicious.
