Segue City Hall of Fame

We felt compelled to go back through time to a particular segue that has its origin back in the Seventies when the Mayor was holding court when he was a young disc jockey and had to work segues with vinyl records and turntables... yes, we know - prehistoric, right? Anyway, since the Copyright Nazis seized the segue we were planning to run today for Hump Day, we decided to go through the archives and grab a classic that is one of the Mayor's favorites and one he actually used on the air - you know back when people listened to FM radio and not streaming audio - what a novel concept...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
