Affectionate Goat Loves Being Pet Like A Puppy

Hamish's Farm in Keene' Ontario is home to may very interesting animals. Among the most interesting is Violet, a 4 month old Lamanche goat who seems to believe that she is a puppy. Since she was born, she has followed Hamish and his mother, Gertrude around the farm wherever they go. She will wander up to them, or even visitors, looking for affection and attention. She gently places her head against them, begging to be scratched and rubbed, just like a dog would.

Violet is very smart and she quickly figures out everything on the farm, such as how to get food that she is not supposed to get into. But, with an adorable face like that, how can anyone ever be annoyed with Violet?

Hamish's Farm burned down in November 2016. He and his mother are rebuilding and life on the farm is slowly returning to normal. Barn construction will begin very soon!

Isn't this affectionate goat just adorable? Who knew that they liked to be pet like a puppy does! It must be hard to rebuild after something so devastating happened to their farm. It just goes to show you that once you power through the difficult times in your life, life tends to get a lot better!
