Burning Man attendees escape muddy mayhem: “Never seen anything like this”

Tens of thousands of people are finally able to leave the Burning Man festival, which turned into a huge flop after torrential rain trapped revelers in Nevada's remote Black Rock desert.

More than 2.5 centimetres of rain fell in the region over the weekend, turning the event into a muddy and almost-quicksand-like mess.

Jennifer Johnson reports on the flood of campers fleeing to dry ground and what some attendees staying behind are hoping for.
