1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup tahini
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt to taste
2-3 tablespoons water (for adjusting consistency)
Paprika and olive oil (for garnish)
Instructions:
in a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, cumin, and a pinch of salt.Blend the i
ngredients until smooth, scraping
down the sides of the processor bowl as needed.If the mixture is too thick, add water gradually while blending until you achieve your desired consistency.Taste and adjust salt and lemon juice if needed.Transfer the hummus to a serving dish.Drizzle olive oil over the top and sprinkle paprika for garnish.Serve with pita bread, fresh vegetables, or as desired.
