Classic Homeworld 2; mission 3, "Sarum"; defending the shipyard of DOOOOOM... and I actually won!!!!

Took a while, and didn't notice I depleted the asteroid fields... but I upgraded a fair bit and had a good little fleet to swarm the enemy spammer-carriers at the end. Not thrilled with the music and some of the nomenclature of awkwardness, but oh well it's yet another thing which falls under the phrase about bathwater. -_-

Nothing can be perfect, but at least there's space combat in 3 dimensions and controlling fleets rather than individual fighter craft. I might be horrible at everything, but this is something I like generally -- especially when I can actually win occasionally and it's not another freaking exercise in absolute futility as most things in life are.

Of course, yeah, it's just a video game and in that since futile; but within the limits of this style of rat maze, at least it's a thing possible to accomplish and the space theme is awesome too. But, yeah, not the Ren Fest dance music stuff, I rather it were like Metallica or anything else.

Some rock by Skillet or Thousand Foot Krutch would be cool, or Pillar might have something to say about the frontlines even. ;p Oh well, can't have everything just the way you want it, unless you mod everything I guess (and I'm not going to bother trying to figure all that out. -_- )

After losing/quitting the other two games' missions right prior to this one I won, I'm glad to be finally victorious already -- and not just losing yet again. Yay winning, even if it's only "winning" in a game and I could have done better if I actually knew what I was doing.
