There's nothing wrong with the Speaker going to Hawaii, but the GOP needs to take care not to spread itself too thin. While they have to be careful not to get lured down every rabbit hole, Congress has an obligation to find out if the situation in Hawaii was mishandled. Unfortunately, if they investigate every Biden or Democrat screwup, they might never get anything of consequence done.
The White House is lawyering up in anticipation of an impeachment inquiry. Will the GOP grow a spine and do what needs to be done? At least authorize an impeachment inquiry, worry about what the Senate will do later. At least give the White House a real reason to hire those lawyers.
