Southfield cancels classes, DPSCD to have early dismissal due to exterme heat

Southfield Public Schools announced that schools would be closed on Tuesday due to the heat. SPS said in a statement on their website that the closure is for all schools, school-related activities and evening activities. Classes are expected to resume on September 6.
