Pontiac 464 cid makes 595 horse and 597 ft lbs of torque on pump gas with FiTech EFI 3x2

Ok guys... part 2 of our 464 dyno session....

Here is the same 464 cid - same everything - same day, same fuel, same weather conditions, just swapped out the Dominator for the new KRE Trade Wind Tri-power Intake and 3x2 Fitech EFI system. We were glad to see that the dominator combo made well over 600 as we wanted to see if the FiTech 39610 3x2 EFI unit would support it and make 600 as advertised.

Unfortunately we only got one pull on video of the unit (1st pull). We ran into a wiring gremlin and decided to pull the EFI off and move toward testing the Holley 2300's (500 cfm each). Time on the dyno seems to go at DOUBLE SPEED!

The first pull we made was a 300 rpm per with very limited ECU learning the Fitech 3x2 EFI made 595.5 hp at 6000 rpm and 597.1 ft lbs of torque at 4600 rpm which we found to be very interesting.

We almost cracked 600 and think that if we could have made a few more pulls, we could have achieved the goal. We will be testing the 3x2 setup again on our next combo - hoping to make closer to 700 horse with the base combo and see what happens with the EFI. Will be an interesting test....
Next is the 500 cfm Holley 2300 series carbs....
