Since 2001, over 120,000 #Veterans have committed suicide.

That’s more than the casualties, from Korean Conflict, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time when individuals, communities, and organizations come together to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health support. It’s an opportunity for us to unite in our efforts to break the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promote resources for those who may be struggling.

Veterans are our heroes, and it’s heartbreaking to know that some continue to battle invisible wounds even after they return home and even why they serve.
