Protestant scholars who studied the topic concur Revelation is Anti-Paul -- even pro-Paul scholars who in turn try to debunk Apostle John wrote Revelation.

THis episode 3 is part of our series trying to show John's Gospel is as much anti-Paul, especially Paul's doctrine of faith alone, as Revelation. On "faith alone," Jesus in John 8 demonlishes faith alone as those who "believe in" Jesus are asked to now become "disciples," and then will be "free."

The "believers" feel insulted that Jesus implies they are not free now, and say they have never been personally in bondage. Jesus says whoever keeps sinning is in bondage to sin. Now the believers become angry, and Jesus tells them "now you want to kill me" for telling you the truth. Jesus says next they are "sons of the devil." Ouch! Faith alone did not save.

Blessings to all.
