Sciatica Nerve 💡

🎯Your lumbar spine consists of the five bones (vertebra) in your lower back. Your lumbar vertebrae, known as L1 to L5, are the largest of your entire spine.

💡Your sciatic nerve is a long, important nerve that starts just outside of your spine and then travels through your pelvis, into your butt and then to the back of each thigh in each leg.

📍The sciatic nerve is formed in the lower spine by the combination of motor and sensory fibers from spinal nerves L4 to S3. These spinal nerves belong to a larger group of nerves in the lower spine called the lumbosacral plexus.
