Patrolling the city of Melitopol

Servicemen of the military commandant's office of the Zaporozhye region provide law and order and security for the residents of Melitopol. Garrison patrols of the military commandant's office of the Zaporozhye region, together with dog handlers and sappers, daily perform tasks to ensure law and order and maintain discipline in the liberated territories, as well as to protect the life and health of the civilian population.

One of the main tasks of the enemy is to intimidate the civilian population by committing terrorist acts, including planting explosive devices in crowded places. To prevent threats, military police patrols work closely with engineering and sapper units, which are armed with both robotic equipment and mine detection dogs. To date, more than 600 applications from the civilian population have been processed, over 400 explosive devices have been defused.
