Storm Shield Forecast morning update 7/6/17

Today will be even hotter than yesterday as we climb to a high of 104 in Bakersfield. The rest of the south valley will see the lower 100s as well with air quality that's unhealthy for sensitive groups. Tehachapi will top out at 90 degrees like yesterday and Frazier Park will climb to a high of 88 degrees. The Kern River Valley is seeing another round of triple digits this afternoon paired with unhealthy air quality due to the smoke from the Schaeffer Fire.
