A New Crew Heads to the Space Station

On September 1, 2023, a new crew of four astronauts will launch to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. The crew includes:

Tom Marshburn, a NASA astronaut who will serve as the pilot of the mission.
Kayla Barron, a NASA astronaut who will be making her first spaceflight.
Matthias Maurer, a European Space Agency astronaut who will be making his second spaceflight.
The crew will spend six months aboard the ISS, conducting scientific experiments and maintaining the station. They will also help to prepare for future Artemis missions to the Moon.
