"Divinely Appointed" & Our Destiny Is In Christ...

Jared led a spiritual discussion focusing on Romans 8:28-39- (Time 0:00)
He also highlighted the idea that our destiny is in Christ. The session ended with a prayer.

Romans 8:28-39
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:

“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God's Love and Destiny in Christ (Time 4:26)
Jared concluded the discussion by referencing Romans 8:31-39, emphasizing God's eternal love for us and his destiny for us in Christ.

Overcoming Sin Through Christ's Power (Time 7:12)
Jared discussed the concept of overcoming sin and separation from God's love through the power of Christ. He emphasized that our own free will allows us to reject God's love, but this does not diminish God's love for us. Jared also cited second Corinthians 12, highlighting the beauty of Paul's statement that his strength lies in his weaknesses. He explained that struggling and suffering are parts of the faith journey and used these to illustrate the process of discipline, obedience, self-denial, and eventually defeating temptations. Jared further expounded on the Orthodox practices of prayer, fasting, and charity as means of disciplining oneself.

Jared's Plans for News Updates and Morning Devotionals -(Time 15:26)
Jared shared his plans to return to sharing news updates, likely next weekend, after taking a break for recovery and adjusting to school. He mentioned continuing with morning devotionals during the week and potential evening readings on the weekends.

Numbers 6:24-26
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
26 The Lord [a]lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” ’
