Nevada Rangers Crash Blockade Arrest Protesters

Protesters set up a blockade with debris on the road to Burning Man to prevent vehicles from passing through.

The group behind the protest, Seven Circles, said the blockade's purpose was to draw attention to “capitalism’s inability to address climate and ecological breakdown.”

Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe reported that Rangers were dispatched to the blockade, where vehicles were backed up for several miles.

The Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe released a statement that one of the rangers' conduct is under review.
