John Cougar Mellencamp needs to stick to music

Formerly famous singer John Cougar Mellencamp engaged Bill Maher in an asinine conversation that included the idea that black people were better off in the days of slavery.

He totally embarrassed himself but he is lucky he is not running for president because they wouldn't even have to lie about what he said to call him a racist.
