We added eyelets to the side of our Skoolie!

When we did our roof raise, we decided that since we were already doing metal working to the bus, we should add eyelets! We figured they would add value and functionality for not much additional work. They are welded thru the main structural tubing frame of the bus.

Other ways we use the eyelets:
🗑️hanging garbage for picnics
⛺️hammock point
💡stringing outdoor lights
👚hanging a clothesline

We have pondered making an outdoor picnic table to suspend from them as well, but that’s a future project!

What else would you use them for?

We are a husband and wife team that loves to take on hard projects. We finished our bus project after 2 years of hard work and are now enjoying life on the road. We plan to travel for a year or two more while we prepare to homestead in northern Idaho or western Montana. Come join us as we document our journey. Our goal is to inspire you and your fellow viewers to go out and life life the Hard Way!
