Cybersecurity Degree For Free - Part 1 - Explaining The CIA Triad

In this first video of my cybersecurity degree for free series, I will discuss the CIA triad, which is a security model that is used to protect information. I will also talk about how to get started in cybersecurity, including what some skills you need to dive in.

The CIA triad consists of three pillars: confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Confidentiality means that information is only accessible to authorized users. Integrity means that information is not modified without authorization. Availability means that information is accessible when needed.

To get started in cybersecurity, you will need some basic technical skills, such as networking, programming, and security analysis. You can also learn about cybersecurity by taking online courses, reading books, and attending conferences.
