Joe Biggs was just sentenced to 17 years in prison. His crime? During the protests on Jan. 6, he tore down a fence that was separating police and protesters. The court used this to label his actions as terrorism. They said destroying the fence was a “deliberate, meaningful step” to disrupt the counting of electoral college votes.
Mr. Biggs was the leader of the Proud Boys. And it looks like the judge is throwing the book at members of the group, similar to how the Oath Keepers are being treated. He was sentenced alongside co-defendant Zackary Rehl, who got 15 years in prison, also mainly for the destruction of the portable fence.

Meanwhile, New York City has declared a state of emergency over the migration crisis. Local residents recently held protests in front of the mayor’s home over the impact that mass migration is having on the city. Illegal immigrants are getting free housing, free meals, and free health care. The money is coming out of the pockets of taxpayers, and this is now threatening to bankrupt the city. Here to speak with us about this is Victor Avila, retired special agent at HSI-ICE and author of "Agent Under Fire."
