Preacher curl one hand bicep curls with a curling the top is an excellent exercise to achieve the best development for the inner head of the biceps or the shorter head of the biceps. The preacher curl isolates the biceps and reduces the involvement of other muscles, making it an effective exercise for building muscle mass and strength.
To perform this exercise, sit on a preacher bench with your armpit resting on the top of the bench and your arm extended over the bench. Hold a dumbbell in one hand with your palm facing up. Curl the weight up towards your shoulder while keeping your elbow stationary. At the top of the movement, twist your wrist to contract your biceps even more. Lower the weight back down slowly and repeat for several reps.
