In this lecture, we will review Cognitive Development in Infants and Toddlers.

Cognitive, or brain development means the learning process of memory, language, thinking, and reasoning (cdc.org). Infants, toddlers, and children learn best in secure, nurturing environments and when attachment to a consistent caregiver is present (Crotty, 2021).

We will compare and contrast two (2) Ground-Breaking Cognitive Development Theories: Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory; and Vygotsky’s Theory

I am open to additional lecture title suggestions… so if you have a topic in mind, send me your request.
