Judge Smacks Down Former Trump Adviser's Claim And Orders Trial To Start Next Week

Donald Trump's former trade adviser, Peter Navarro, suffered a massive loss in court this week when the judge overseeing his contempt of Congress trial said that Navarro has not proven his only legal claim. Navarro had argued for the charges to be dismissed because he said that he had "executive privilege" to refuse to testify (and to refuse to release documents to the January 6th Committee), but the judge informed him that he has no evidence to back up that claim.
