HURRICANE FRANKLIN IS SEEN FROM THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION

On Tuesday, August 29th, 2023 at 9:56 a.m. EDT, the International Space Station's external cameras recorded footage of Hurricane Franklin. The station was 260 miles above and Franklin was situated in the Atlantic, far from land. It had wind speeds of 130 miles per hour and was moving in a north-northeast direction as reported by the National Hurricane Center.
