Franklin Vanderbilt: Making more than Music

Drummer Franklin Vanderbilt has performed with famous artists including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, and Lenny Kravitz. He grew up on Chicago's West Side and wants to make his old neighborhood more sustainable by developing a youth center, The Franklin Vanderbilt Academy of Performing Arts, to teach music, art, financial literacy, horticulture, and life skills. Franklin talks about his career, family, and why he wants to help young people thrive.
