Stuttgart Arkansas PD Officer Gignac Investigating Out Of State Hit & Run August 22nd 2023 11:07 AM

On August 22, 2023, I was dispatched to Michigan and Buerkle for a hit and run.

Upon arrival I spoke with Raye West. West stated that a high jacked up vehicle came up behind her and rear ended her. West stated that she did not see what kind of vehicle struck her. West advised me that a female that works at Petrus witness what had happened, but I was unable to contact her she was not at work. West stated she did not want medical attention.

Update: August 23, 2023, Victim West came to the Stuttgart Police Department wanting to advise me that after leaving the location of the accident she remembered that the plate on the back of the vehicle that left was light blue. West does think it was an out of state tag being displayed.
