Shoe shining is always a task that probably no one really likes to do. But instead of scrubbing hard, you can make shining your shoes a lot easier. And that's by putting your shoes in the dishwasher! Even if it sounds strange, but this cleaning trick really works and in this video I explain to you exactly how it works and what you should pay attention to!

However, you should never clean shoes made of leather in your dishwasher, running shoes as well as fabric shoes are no problem here. In addition, you should take the insoles out of the shoes, as these are also not allowed in the dishwasher. Now you should first remove coarse dirt such as sand, etc. from the shoes. To do this, tap them out once and wipe them with your hand. Then you can put the shoes in the dishwasher.

Put your dishwashing detergent in the compartment and select a program with a low temperature and a short running time. Dishes should NOT be in the dishwasher during this cycle. Now you can run it through once. After that, your shoes are really nice and clean again! Now they only have to dry. Take some newspaper and crumple it into the shoes, so that they keep their shape. Once they are completely dry, you can take the newspaper out again, put the inserts back in the shoes and you have clean shoes out of the dishwasher.

I always do a dishwasher cleaning afterwards, the machine needs it from time to time anyway and now is the perfect time to do it. So you can choose a time, moreover, you want to clean the machine and before that once again clean your shoes in the dishwasher.
