Do you always throw your banana peel in the trash can after you eat the banana? Then you shouldn't do that in the future! In this video I show you what else you can do with the banana peel. Namely, you can use it to clean your shoes and take care of them. At least, if they are leather shoes. Because the ingredients of the banana peel are suitable as a substitute for conventional shoe polish.

For this purpose, you should clean your shoes from coarse dirt by wiping them with a damp cloth. Then take the banana peel and rub the inside of your shoe. Feel free to change the location of the banana peel every now and then so that you get the whole peel. If you have successfully rubbed the shoes, you should leave the whole thing for about 10-15 minutes. Now you still have a lot of small pieces of banana on your shoe, but this can be wiped off easily in a moment.

After the reaction time you wipe your shoes again with a damp cloth, thereby you remove the remaining banana pieces and your shoes shine again almost like new!

In the future, you should not throw away the peel of your banana, because you can still use it perfectly!
