Trash cans are where we collect a lot of trash, so it's no surprise that over time your trash can starts to smell stinky or foul. But instead of just accepting this, you can easily neutralize the smell and only with a simple home remedy! All you need is baking soda. Because baking soda binds odors, it can make sure your trash can doesn't stink anymore and bad odors are easily removed. In this video, I'll show you exactly how this works and what you need to do for it!

In the first step, you should of course clean your trash can once. You can do this wonderfully with warm water and a little vinegar. Wipe out the bucket once thoroughly and dry it afterwards! Now the trash can is clean again.

Before you put a new garbage bag in your garbage can, just dump 1-2 tablespoons of baking soda on the bottom of the garbage can, depending on how big your garbage can is. Now the garbage bag goes into the garbage can and in the future it should then no longer smell bad, because the soda works here! If the garbage after some time again begins to stink, you should replace the soda once by new, because this can absorb with the time of course no longer so many smells.

Do this regularly and your trash can will no longer smell bad in the future!
