Michael Fish's NBC26 Weather Forecast
Another low pressure with yet another frontal boundary is going to be rolling though the area again today. The first round of showers and storms that moves through will not be the main threat of severe weather. Once this moves through, there should be a break. This break would be the key as to how the atmosphere would recover. The larger the break and the more sunshine, the stronger these storms would be in the late afternoon going into the evening. Even if the storms were weaker, they'd still have the potential to bring heavy rain to parts of the area. Once again, the strength of tonight's storms will be how the atmosphere recovers with any sunshine this afternoon. Some of these storms could be strong to severe again, depending on how this afternoon shapes up. This activity will slowly work its way out of the area as the night wears on. Lows will be in the mid-60s.
