HUDSON VALLEY'S BEST KEPT SECRETS: Bee Hive Kilns on Wassaic Trail and Dover Stone Church

Hey, guys! Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're going to show you two amazing places that you probably never heard of: the bee hive kilns in Wassaic and the Dover Stone Church in Dover Plains. These are two hidden gems that will blow your mind with their beauty and history. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this!
The bee hive kilns are these huge stone structures that look like ancient temples or tombs. They were actually used to make charcoal for iron works in the 1800s. You can also learn more about the history of the iron industry in this region from the signs along the trail.
The Dover Stone Church is not a real church, but a natural rock formation that looks like a Gothic window. It is formed by a crack in the rock through which a stream flows, creating a waterfall and a pool inside a cave. The cave is so beautiful and peaceful, and you can enter it and see the waterfall up close.
These are two of the most amazing places we’ve ever visited in the Hudson Valley, and we hope you enjoyed watching this video as much as we enjoyed making it. If you did, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to our channel for more videos like this. Also, let me know in the comments if you have been to these places or if you have any suggestions for other places we should visit. Thank you so much for watching, and we’ll see you next time!
