Have you ever heard of baking soda? It's a great cleaning agent and you can clean a lot of things with baking soda. And not only is baking soda a true all-rounder, it's also significantly easier than using some other cleaning products. That's why I'm going to show you 7 incredibly simple cleaning tricks with baking soda in this video!

1. stinky drain

You can get rid of bad odors from the drain wonderfully with baking soda. Because baking soda is odor-binding and can so easily remove bad odors. All you have to do is dump about 25 grams of baking soda down your drain, followed by about 100 ml of vinegar. Now wet a cloth and put it on the drain. After about 30 minutes, rinse the whole thing again with hot water and the bad smells are gone!

2. burnt pot

You can also easily clean a burnt pot with baking soda. Put baking soda on the entire bottom of your pot and pour some vinegar behind it. The burnt spots should be completely under the bicarbonate of soda and vinegar mixture. Now let the whole thing work for some time and then clean the pot easily!

3. burnt baking sheets

What works with the pot, also works wonderfully with a baking tray. Again, we sprinkle baking soda on the baking sheet and then add vinegar. For even better cleaning, you can also heat it. But be sure to open a window, because heated vinegar stinks very strongly. After some time, just clean everything and you're done.

4. clean mattress

You can also clean a mattress really easily with baking soda. For a basic cleaning, you distribute soda on the entire mattress and let it soak for 1-2 hours. After that, you can simply vacuum it off and the mattress is cleaned. For stubborn stains, take some vinegar, add baking soda and rub the stains with this mixture. The stains should then disappear quickly.

5. stinky carpet

Do you have a stinky carpet? Here, too, the miracle cure baking soda can help you! Spread baking soda all over your carpet, preferably with a small sieve. Now let it soak in overnight and simply vacuum it up the next day. This will pull bad odors out of the carpet and it will look clean again and no longer stink.

6. stinky vacuum cleaner

Does it also smell very unpleasant when you start the vacuum cleaner? Then you should be able to ensure with soda that the vacuum cleaner no longer stinks! All you have to do is spread about 50 grams of baking soda on a hard floor and vacuum it up with the vacuum cleaner. This will allow the baking soda to get into all the nooks and crannies of your vacuum cleaner and absorb the bad smells!

7. stinky laundry

Do you always have the feeling that your laundry stinks, even though you just took it out of the washing machine? Then you can simply put some baking soda in your compartment, where you usually put the washing powder. Then wash the laundry once as usual and the bad smell should be history for good.

As you can see, baking soda is a real miracle cure, so you should always have some in the house!
