There is actually a trick that will make your candles or tea lights burn longer. And this trick is incredibly simple. That's why I want to show it to you once in this video. So be sure to watch the video until the end.

All you have to do is to put salt in your candles. Because salt binds the wax and thus ensures that it burns much slower. For a tea light, take about half a teaspoon and pour it into the wax when the candle has been burning for about 15 minutes and a small puddle of wax has formed.

You will then see that the wax melts much slower and the candle thus ends up burning about 25% longer than without salt. With this ingenious trick you can therefore save some candles and thus money. Therefore, you should definitely try this trick once!
