The washing machine is also regularly used by you? Then you should also clean the washing machine in between times. How exactly you have to proceed and which steps are important, you will learn in this video!

In this case, we start with the drawer where we put the detergent. You can pull this drawer out and then wash it or put it in your dishwasher. Also, mix some water with citric acid and rub the inside of the drawer with an old toothbrush until it is completely clean again.

Then you should definitely take a look at the door rubber. Over time, some dirt accumulates there as well, which we have to remove here. To do this, wipe through the door rubber with a cloth and remove the dirt. You can also use the citric acid/water mixture for this.

Then we take care of the lint filter. For this, you have a flap at the bottom of the washing machine that you can open. First, start draining water through the hose. Then you can carefully unscrew the lint filter. Put a towel under it, because some water will still come out. Then you can clean the lint filter from coarse dirt and rinse it under running water. Then just screw it back in and you have cleaned the fluff filter.

Dishwashing tabs are also wonderfully suitable for cleaning the drum. Put two pieces in your drum and let the washing machine run without laundry at a high temperature. Then your washing machine should be completely clean again!

Do such a cleaning regularly every 1-3 months, depending on how often you use the washing machine.
