Surprisingly, every other book in the Old Testament bearing this name is consistently referred to as Jacob. However, when it comes to the New Testament, this very same name undergoes an unexpected transformation and is translated inconsistently as James by Wycliffe. Yet, those same OT Jacobs, remain Jacob in the NT.
