Russia Rushes Troops to Zaporizhzhia, Can the Elite 76th Guards Stop A Major Ukrainian

Russia is sending reinforcements to Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region in a bid to prevent a major Ukrainian breakthrough, as per reports. The Kremlin reportedly is worried that Kyiv’s recent victories in the region could threaten the crucial frontline. Moscow has rapidly redeployed elements of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division, which is “arguably Russia’s best division.” The division was most recently deployed early this year around Kreminna, where the Russians are still sustaining a limited offensive.
