Apple officially announces September 12 launch event for the iPhone 15.
As always, this will be streamed online at apple.com as well as in the Apple TV app.
All four new iPhones will have USB C ports thanks to the recent E U law mandating those, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to be the first Apple device ever to feature a periscope zoom camera. Both Pro models are expected to sport titanium frames, in a move away from stainless steel. The entire series will replace the mute switch with a programmable "Action button", and the Dynamic Island will be featured on all of them too.
Apple may also choose to refresh its AirPods lineup to give them USB C ports as well. The Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2 are expected to star in the show too.
