The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Serena Steven, a nurse on Vancouver Island.
When the mandates began, Serena became anxious and concerned about the covid vaccine. She had done her own research and found contradicting data from other parts of the world. She felt trapped and started to experience severe anxiety. She seeked medical help from her family physician, only to be brushed off. At the same time, the doctor was encouraging her to get the covid vaccine.
She describes the challenges of doing her job knowing that the ethics violations and the disregard for bodily autonomy were against all medical principles.
Serena made several trips to get the vaccine but changed her mind at the last minute. When she couldn't take the coersion anymore, she gave in and got her first shot.
Within hours, she was experiencing heart palpations but soon dismissed it to her anxiety. The symptoms got worse, and she went to the hospital, where they gave her a heart monitor. They discovered she had become injured from the vaccine.
Serena has other symptoms that have caused extreme discomfort and is continuing to receive treatment from her heart specialist. She is slowly recovering but is still traumatized by her experience.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
