Bangkok’s floating markets are one of Thailand’s most precious treasures. Located on a series of chaotic canals (khlongs), these vibrant markets charm visitors with an array of stalls and boats selling colorful fruits and vegetables and local dishes.

Wat Bot Bon Floating Market is the market in the Bangkok Noi area of Nonthaburi Province.

Wat Bot Bon Floating Market is a local market that they are trying to promote into a tourist attraction to generate income for the community members.

At the market there are many food, snacks and clothing shops along the canal bank. You can see a bit of the local community and how they live their lives on the canals.

In addition to the market people stop by the 250 year old Ayutthaya style temple to worship Luang Pu Sadong at Wat Bot Bon.

It opens daily from 9.00am-3.00pm. It features a 1,000 kg solid gold image of the famous monk.

The best time to visit is on weekend and public
holidays. While being a small market it’s still fun to see and try some of the food from the local community.
