If you use a soap dispenser, every time you operate it, significantly more soap comes out of the soap dispenser than you need. That's because a small amount is already enough to wash your hands. But the soap manufacturers are of course happy if you use more soap and then have to buy a new soap dispenser. But that's exactly what this little household trick with the rubber band helps against!

Because if you wrap a rubber band around the pump mechanism of your soap dispenser, then significantly less soap comes out of the soap dispenser. This will save you around 50% soap and therefore some money. This can really pay off if you always prepare your soap dispensers with a rubber band in the future.

When the soap dispenser is empty, you can simply remove it and tie it to the next soap dispenser. Or if you buy refills, you can leave the rubber band right on your soap dispenser.
