Pet of the week: Dixie is a 3-year-old Labrashepherd who needs a forever home

Every Friday ABC Action News puts a special spotlight on a dog or cat that needs a home in our Pet of the Week segment. This week we are featuring a 3-year-old Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix. Dixie comes from Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St. Petersburg. She is as sweet as her name. Dixie is a larger dog. As she weighs about 80 pounds, Dixie might not be a good companion for very small children. "Labrashepherds" require a moderate amount of grooming with daily brushing. They are often good with older children and other pets. Dixie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $200.
