Basically you had a military coup in Niger And Niger is a big supplier of gold uranium other stuff to France France has got heavy interest there as does the U.S France and the U.S have been kind of saying we don't like this Niger is saying we don't care There's been threats to go in and do stuff And other middle African countries have said you know what We're kind of tired of y'alls meddling If y'all do anything to Niger we're backing them You're going to have to do it at all levels And at the same time the two other big players that are all over Africa is China and Russia Yeah Algeria went and met with Russia yesterday I think They're probably going to be picking up Russian weapons and they're backing Niger's play as well
