One of the Lowly - Carl Jung on the Heights and Depths of Consciousness

This video covers C. G Jung's Red Book chapter / active imagination, One of the Lowly, as well as the Black Book 2 entry from 12/28/1913.

In it, Jung explores the dynamics between the heights and depths of consciousness. Each hold their own unique value to consciousness as a whole, as without one...there is no consciousness.

Without the depths, there is no essence/energy to active conscious awareness.
Without the heights, there is nothing to be aware of the wholeness of the psyche.

And as the title hints, this active imagination humbles Jung.

We'll begin with an introduction of the material presented. Some points include the Ego and Unconscious relationship, singleness and community, wholeness, death, individuation, and much more.

Then, i'll read the full Black Book 2 entry with this visionary experience (with audio and visuals to go along with it).

Finally, we'll go through Jung's second layer (commentary) in The Red Book on what he experienced within.
