Rotation of Planets

Planets rotate by spinning around their own axis, like a top. This rotation causes day and night cycles. For example, Earth takes about 24 hours to complete one full rotation, giving us a day and night. Other planets have different rotation speeds, like Venus, which rotates very slowly and in the opposite direction, making its days longer than its years.
