Part 2 of 2
The National Citizens Inquiry testimony of Dr. Matthew Evans Cockle, a professor with studies in Renaissance and the Reformation in Political Science and Political Philosophy.
In his excellent testimony, he gave insight into conflict of interest seen throughout the pandemic in several governmental and nongovernmental agencies. The pharmaceutical companies funding millions of dollars for research projects to the same institutions that should remain open for discussion and debate is unethical. However, what we saw during the pandemic was an unprecedented level of cooperation and coordination. Even before contracts were drawn for the covid vaccine, there were millions of dollars allocated to vaccine hesitancy. Why? No long-term effects of the vaccine were done. How can they say it was "safe and effective" without proper testing? Why allocate money for vaccine hesitancy, and what happened to discussing natural immunity?
Matthew describes the negative impact the government decisions and policies had on all areas of life in Canada. They compromised the integrity and trust Canadians had on the healthcare system.
He talks about the dangers of leaving all decision-making to the experts. If those experts have any conflict of interest, the decision is no longer unbiased. He also warns of the increasing use of public/private partnerships. The world just had the largest transfer of wealth in history during covid, and the use of surveillance (vaccine passports) on ordinary citizens is increasing. Was it really about saving lives, or was the global power structure just expanding their shareholders' wealth?
Matthew describes the changes to educational institutions. Most are shut down now for any debate that doesn't jive with the government narrative. They walled off the domains of learning, limiting the expansion of discussion and debate. This is what Matthew calls "cultural barbarism." It is dominion over empathy with the use of violence and persuasion to get people to do what you want them to do. This should never become the new normal.

The covid restrictions and mandates hurt many Canadians. Please listen to their stories.
