Oak Hill Crew Aquatic

For JeepJeep's birthday we went kayaking! It was the first time Snacks and Real Rookie had been in a kayak before.

We put in on the Magaguadavic River at the bridge in Brockway and pulled out just before the Flume Ridge bridge and it took us about 5 hours to make it the twisty, turny 14kms (8.5 miles)

We saw ducks, beavers, turtles, fish, heron and for the last hour and a half had an eagle lead us down the river. It was quiet, calm and super relaxing for the first 90%.

The last 10% had some small rapids, testing out the skills for the newbs to prepare them for our next kayak adventure on the St. Croix River, hopefully soon before it gets too cold!

Have fun with us, and let us know if you like being out on the water!
