Missouri SB100 Sabotage by Dean Plocher in the 2023 legislative session

Missouri's popular gold and silver legislation (Senator Bill Eigel's SB100) was sabotaged by Missouri representative Dean Plocher R (Speaker of the House) with help from John Patterson R (Floor Leader) by allowing House Democrats to filibuster the bill. Patterson could have at any time stopped the debate and PQed (Previous Questioned) the bill and called for a vote. What the video does not show is the fact the Senate (Bill Eigel and Mike Moon) was filibustering a corporatist bill from the House that Plocher wanted to be passed by the Senate - at the same time. This was literally a battle between conservatives and RINOs in a republican super majority general assembly. It has also been rumored that Representative Plocher will not let any Senator Eigel bills through the House that are popular with the people of Missouri, such as reductions in personal property tax. Because of representative Plocher's actions, SB100 failed to get voted on for final passage in 2023. I was in the House gallery during the debate/filibuster on this video. Dean Plocher is squarely to blame for this fiasco and John Patterson was an accomplice.
